ONLINE SHOPPING
In addition to purchasing items through our Web store, you can support the Center when you purchase gear through Patagonia or shop for good at iGive — where purchases from more than 680 stores can benefit our work. You can also help the Center by using GoodSearch, GoodShop, and the HealthyLife Foundation. Or reclaim your mailbox from postal junk mail and support the Center at the same time through 41pounds.org.
GIFTS OF STOCK
Take stock in the protection of our natural resources by giving stocks, bonds, and mutual fund shares to the Center for Biological Diversity. Your gift of stock will make a truly sound investment — helping to save what’s wild for future generations — while providing you with financial benefits.
If you own securities that have increased in value since they were purchased (at least 12 months ago), you may be able to completely avoid capital gains tax this year by contributing the securities instead of cash. You'll receive a charitable income tax deduction for the full market value of the asset, and you'll avoid capital gains tax on the appreciation of the securities. Sound too good to be true? It's not!
To make a gift, please contact our membership team for the Center’s current account information. Call toll-free at (866) 357.3349 or
email us.
BEQUEST GIFTS
By including the Center for Biological Diversity as a beneficiary in your will or living trust, you can leave a lasting legacy of endangered species and wild places for generations to come (and possibly receive tax benefits now).
Your donation will entitle you to membership in the Legacy Society, a group of special supporters who offer their vision and commitment to the future of our planet and of the Center for Biological Diversity. Whether you wish to leave us your real property or name us in your life insurance policy, your bequest gift will help ensure the continued strength of our programs and will make your voice for wildlife heard well into the next century.
With any donation, we recommend that you consult your attorney or tax advisor on issues regarding your will or trust, and for advice about the most appropriate bequest option for you. If you’ve already made a choice and would like to put us in your will today, we would like to offer you some helpful information below.

WORKPLACE GIVING
Will your employer match your gifts? If your company offers an Employee Matching Gifts program, you can easily make your hard-earned dollars go twice as far with a matching gift to the Center for Biological Diversity. Some employers will do even more than match your gift, and some will match your contributions even if you are now retired. When you send us your donation, just mail your company's matching gift form with your contribution and we'll take it from there. The Center is featured in United Way and Combined Federal Campaigns across the country.

VEHICLE DONATIONS
Are you thinking of selling or trading in a car, boat or RV? Why not donate it instead? As a charitable contribution, a vehicle that’s no longer useful to you can make a big difference to us. Our process is simple, quick and convenient. Donate a car, RV, boat or trailer. It will be picked up and auctioned off, and the proceeds will come directly to the Center for Biological Diversity. We will provide proper documentation for your tax-deductible donation purposes. Please call Vehicles for Charity toll-free at (866) 628.2277 with questions or to initiate your gift to the Center.

DONATE REAL ESTATE
By donating real estate property to the Center for Biological Diversity, you avoid the capital gains tax — and receive a charitable contribution deduction equal to the property's full fair market value. The Internal Revenue Service requires an independent, qualified appraisal of the property for you to claim the deduction, and the Center for Biological Diversity conducts a staff site inspection of all real estate before accepting it as a donation. If you are considering a bequest of land to be preserved in its natural state, we ask that you notify us in advance, so that we may determine whether we will be able to manage the property in a manner consistent with your wishes.
